Consumer Alert! Many concerned citizens have contacted our office about receiving letters from a company attempting to charge them an exorbitant rate to get a copy of their deed. Our office has taken action against these kind of solicitations, and this morning a letter was sent to the Attorney General (first, second attachments), and the word is spreading throughout the community. Please be aware of this practice and inform people around you. |
