About the Park Bur-Mil Park is a 250-acre park owned by Guilford County and managed by the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department. Established in 1989 through the purchase of the former Burlington Industries recreation facility, Bur-Mil provides a variety of recreation opportunities to Guilford County residents. The park features a family aquatic center that opened in summer 2004, golf and tennis facilities and instruction, a wildlife education center, and a clubhouse with a terrace and rooms to accommodate meetings, parties, weddings, and other special events.
