Roger Bardsley, Guilford County Location Southwest Park is located southeast of the intersection of Wall Road and Jonquil Drive in southwest Guilford County. About the Park Owned in conjunction with the Piedmont Triad Water Authority, this park is located along the banks of Randleman Reservoir and is 90 acres in size. When the reservoir water and buffer areas are included, the size of the "park" is actually over 500 acres. Southwest Park offers five picnic shelters to rent, two softball/youth baseball fields, three miles of hiking trail, a dog park, two playgrounds, kayak, canoe and jon boat rentals, and fishing. The water-based activities are scheduled to be available in March 2010. All other activities will be available when the park opens in June, 2009.
